The Conference Host
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is Financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyond—infrastructure with sustainability at its core. We began operations in Beijing in 2016 and have since grown to 110 approved members worldwide. We are capitalized at USD100 billion and AAA-rated by the major international credit rating agencies. Collaborating with partners, AIIB meets clients’ needs by unlocking new capital and investing in infrastructure that is green, technology-enabled and promotes regional connectivity.
#CII2025 is organized by AIIB’s Complaints-resolution, Evaluation, and Integrity Unit (CEIU) together with AIIB’s Ethics Office. CEIU is responsible for investigations into Prohibited Practices in AIIB-funded projects and activities, while the Ethics Office handles investigations into staff misconduct.

The #CII2025 logo preserves CII’s unique brand identity while representing the spirit of Chinese culture and tradition through its shape, design, and color. It is a vibrant blend of culture, tradition, and symbolism:
Shape: The circular shape embodies flow, harmony, reflecting perpetual renewal and life’s interconnected journey. It subtly mirrors the logos of CII and AIIB, tying the design between the event and the host.
Design: Inspired by Jianzhi (Chinese paper cutting), a traditional art used as decoration for festive events and special celebrations, which fittingly marks the 25th Conference in 2025—a milestone for the investigator community. The border design offers a unique perspective—a top-view silhouette of the AIIB Headquarters. This subtle architectural reference further connects the event to its host, emphasizing CII’s partnership with AIIB and the shared vision of innovation. The design also pays tribute to the building blocks of the Great Wall of China, a masterful piece of infrastructure that symbolizes strength and endurance.
Colors: Red is the color of happiness and celebration in Chinese tradition. AIIB’s signature crimson red amplifies the event’s auspiciousness. The shades of blue reflect the colors of CII’s brand identity further demonstrating cooperation between the CII and AIIB.
CII2025 Theme
The #CII2025 theme, “Delivering Innovative Investigations Solutions”, highlights CII’s roots as an incubator of innovation.
While “innovation” often implies newness, CII offers a chance to reflect on what the investigator community has already accomplished to push innovation forward. It motivates thinking of the path forward to address pain points, improve efficiency, and strengthen the community.
The conference sessions will focus on identifying, developing, and/or strengthening investigative solutions to shared investigation challenges. The program will aim to strike a balance between anti-corruption, staff misconduct, humanitarian, and general investigation topics.
